  1. Lift the front of the snowmobile in such a way that the skis are off the ground. Remove the stock shocks according to the procedures recommended by the manufacturer.
    • Lift the front of the snowmobile in such a way that the skis are off the ground.

    • Remove the stock shocks according to the procedures recommended by the manufacturer.

    • Install the Elka front shocks with the piggyback reservoir pointing towards the front of the snowmobile as shown.

    • The lower shock eyelets should be installed with the rebound adjuster oriented towards the outside of the vehicle as shown.

  2. For Stage 2 front shocks, install with the Schraeder nitrogen valve oriented towards the side of the snowmobile as shown.
    • For Stage 2 front shocks, install with the Schraeder nitrogen valve oriented towards the side of the snowmobile as shown.

  3. Remove the limiter strap and idler wheels. Lift the rear of the snowmobile in such a way that the track is not touching the ground. Remove the two spring supports to remove any tension on the torsion springs.
    • Remove the limiter strap and idler wheels.

    • Lift the rear of the snowmobile in such a way that the track is not touching the ground.

    • Remove the two spring supports to remove any tension on the torsion springs.

    • Remove the stock suspension.

  4. Install the sleeve through the bottom eye with the plastic spacer on both side of the eyelet.
    • Install the sleeve through the bottom eye with the plastic spacer on both side of the eyelet.

  5. Install the Elka center shock with piggyback reservoir at the top and pointing towards the right side of the snowmobile as show on the photo.
    • Install the Elka center shock with piggyback reservoir at the top and pointing towards the right side of the snowmobile as show on the photo.

    • The lower shock eyelet rebound adjuster screw must be oriented toward the rear of vehicle,

  6. Install the Elka rear shock with the reservoir at the bottom and oriented towards the rear of the snowmobile as shown on the photo. The rebound must be facing upwards.
    • Install the Elka rear shock with the reservoir at the bottom and oriented towards the rear of the snowmobile as shown on the photo.

    • The rebound must be facing upwards.

    • Re-install the two spring supports.

    • Lower the snowmobile completely and re-install the limiter strap. Using the shock without limiter strap will cause shock failure and void shock guarantee

    • Inspect limiter strap condition and length. An improperly setted up limiter strap (too long) will cause the shock to fail. In case of tear or other type of damage, limiter strap shall be replaced.

  7. Same step for stage 2 shock. Same step for stage 2 shock.
    • Same step for stage 2 shock.
