  1. Lift the vehicle using a jack or stand so that the wheels are off the ground. Refer to your vehicle's owner manual for specific instructions on how to remove the stock shocks. Keep your original bolts to re-use when installing your new Elka shocks.

  2. Remove the seat for better access to the top mounting bolt.

  3. Remove the stock shock.
    • Remove the stock shock.

  4. Install the new Elka shock with the head mounted at the top.
    • Install the new Elka shock with the head mounted at the top.

  5. The valve should be oriented toward the rear of the vehicle as it's shown on the picture.

  6. On Stage 2 models the rebound adjuster located on lower eyelet of the shocks should be oriented towards the rear of the vehicle, as shown. If needed, you can turn the lower eyelet to orient properly.
