Rezzy cap O-ring replacment_revB

  1. Unscrew and remove the rezzy cap protector with the Elka tool : LK-TL583. Unscrew and remove the rezzy cap protector with the Elka tool : LK-TL583.

  2. Release reservoir pressure by pushing the center core of the schrader valve. Be sure all the pressure is removed before performing the next step.

  3. Using a proper circlip tool, remove the rezzy cap clip.

  4. Screw the Elka tool (ASS-TL-0001) on the schrader valve threads and pull the rezzy cap out.

  5. Remove the O-ring, being careful not to scratch the )-ring groove of the part with any sharp tools. Place the new O-ring (OR49x3) into groove as shown in first picture, and hold it firmly with your thumb to avoid twisting during installation.

    • Stretch the O-ring just enough to install it into the groove. Be sure the O-ring is not twisted.

  6. Apply some grease on the O-ring. Install the rezzy cap into the rezzy and push it to see the circlip groove. Install the circlip into the groove. Be sure the circlip is properly installed before performing the next step.

  7. Charge reservoir with 200 psi of nitrogen. Re-install the rezzy cap protector. Re-install the rezzy cap protector.
    • Charge reservoir with 200 psi of nitrogen.

    • Re-install the rezzy cap protector.
