Introduction

READ BEFORE INSTALLATION

- Never unscrew the banjo bolts of the hose to reorient them

- Do not bend the hoses at a 90° angle

- Do not route the hoses near a place where it can rub or be pinched

- Do not route the hoses near extreme heat-generating parts (ie: exhaust)

- Do not over tighten the metal collars on the reservoir (torque to 6 lb/in)

- Make sure the reservoir and hose stay clear of any moving parts

(ie: swingarm, chain)

- Hoses can be secured to the frame using zip ties to avoid contact with moving parts

- Make sure that the shock bolts and metal collars are tightened properly before riding

  1. Lift the vehicle off the ground with a jack or on a stand. Remove the stock shock absorbers from the vehicle (refer to the manufacturer's documentation). Install the ELKA shock absorbers bolting the top mount first with the banjo bolt pointing toward the inside of the vehicle and the hose pointing toward the front of the vehicle.
    • Lift the vehicle off the ground with a jack or on a stand. Remove the stock shock absorbers from the vehicle (refer to the manufacturer's documentation).

    • Install the ELKA shock absorbers bolting the top mount first with the banjo bolt pointing toward the inside of the vehicle and the hose pointing toward the front of the vehicle.

    • Secure the reservoir using the provided collars and rubber mounts. Do not overtighten the metal collars on the reservoir (torque to 6 lb.in). The left shock reservoir should be installed on the left side and the right shock reservoir is instaled on the right side, as shown on the pictures.

    • Consult your Elka Owner's Manual to set the proper ride height and for adjustment procedures.

    • Installation is completed.

  2. Lift the vehicle off the ground with a jack or on a stand. Remove the stock shock absorbers from the vehicle (refer to the manufacturer's documentation). Install the ELKA shock absorbers bolting the top mount first with the banjo bolt pointing toward the front of the vehicle and the hose pointing toward the left side of the vehicle. Secure the reservoir using the provided collars and rubber mounts coming with your ELKA shock absorbers. Do not overtighten the metal collars on the reservoir (torque to 6 lb.in). The shock reservoir is attached on the left side of the subframe, as shown on the pictures.
    • Lift the vehicle off the ground with a jack or on a stand. Remove the stock shock absorbers from the vehicle (refer to the manufacturer's documentation).

    • Install the ELKA shock absorbers bolting the top mount first with the banjo bolt pointing toward the front of the vehicle and the hose pointing toward the left side of the vehicle.

    • Secure the reservoir using the provided collars and rubber mounts coming with your ELKA shock absorbers. Do not overtighten the metal collars on the reservoir (torque to 6 lb.in). The shock reservoir is attached on the left side of the subframe, as shown on the pictures.

    • Refer to the ELKA owner's manual to set the proper ride height and for adjustment procedures.

    • Installation is completed.
