  1. Lift the vehicle using a jack or stand so that the front shocks are in fully extend position WITHOUT TAKING WHEELS OF THE GROUND or HOLDING AXLE WITH STAND The shocks hold the front axle, so be sure the axle can't fall before removing front shocks. Remove upper nuts and lower bolts, then remove OEM shocks. Remove upper nuts and lower bolts, then remove OEM shocks.

    • Remove upper nuts and lower bolts, then remove OEM shocks.

  2. Install new Elka front shocks using lower OEM bolt. (Right side shown) With only the lower rubber bushing on shock's stud, compress the shock and slide the upper stud in place. Install the second rubber bushing, followed by the washer then install the provided nut (for non-remote models).

    • With only the lower rubber bushing on shock's stud, compress the shock and slide the upper stud in place.

    • Install the second rubber bushing, followed by the washer then install the provided nut (for non-remote models).

    • Install the second rubber bushing, followed by the bracket, then install the provided nut (for remote models).

    • Sit the reservoir into bracket's clamps as shown. Place reservoir to have the hose close to the frame without interferences. (Right side shown)

    • Apply some threads locker ,then torque clamp's bolts at 10 lb/ft.

  3. For models with an external reservoir, install the bracket as shown and tighten the nut.
    • For models with an external reservoir, install the bracket as shown and tighten the nut.

  4.   5. Install new Elka front shocks using lower OEM bolt. (Right side shown) For the Piggyback model, make sure that the reservoir is facing the front. For the Piggyback model, make sure that the reservoir is facing the front.
    • Install new Elka front shocks using lower OEM bolt. (Right side shown)

    • For the Piggyback model, make sure that the reservoir is facing the front.

  6. Install the longer spacer on the rear left side as shown to offset the handbrake cable. Make sure that the cable does not touch the reservoir. Use the provided bolt. Install the longer spacer on the rear left side as shown to offset the handbrake cable. Make sure that the cable does not touch the reservoir. Use the provided bolt. Install the longer spacer on the rear left side as shown to offset the handbrake cable. Make sure that the cable does not touch the reservoir. Use the provided bolt.
    • Install the longer spacer on the rear left side as shown to offset the handbrake cable. Make sure that the cable does not touch the reservoir. Use the provided bolt.

  7. Install the longer spacer on the rear right side as shown to offset the handbrake cable. Make sure that the cable does not touch the reservoir. Install the longer spacer on the rear right side as shown to offset the handbrake cable. Make sure that the cable does not touch the reservoir.
    • Install the longer spacer on the rear right side as shown to offset the handbrake cable. Make sure that the cable does not touch the reservoir.
