  1. Lift the vehicle using a jack or stand so that the wheels are off the ground. Refer to your vehicle's owner manual for specific instructions on how to remove the stock shocks. Keep your original bolts to re-use when installing your new Elka shocks

  2. Install the front left new Elka shock with the reservoir ( on Stage 3-4-5 ) at the top of vehicle, facing the rear as indicate by the blue Arrow. Install the front right new Elka shock with the reservoir ( on Stage 3-4-5 ) at the top of vehicle, facing the rear as indicate by the red Arrow. On stage 1 and stage 2, install shocks with the nitrogen shraeder valve at the top of vehicle (right side shown).
    • Install the front left new Elka shock with the reservoir ( on Stage 3-4-5 ) at the top of vehicle, facing the rear as indicate by the blue Arrow.

    • Install the front right new Elka shock with the reservoir ( on Stage 3-4-5 ) at the top of vehicle, facing the rear as indicate by the red Arrow.

    • On stage 1 and stage 2, install shocks with the nitrogen shraeder valve at the top of vehicle (right side shown).

  3. On Stage 2, Stage 4 and Stage 5 models, the lower shock eyelets should be installed with the rebound adjuster oriented towards the rear of the vehicle as shown by the blue Arrow on the photo ( left side shown ). If needed, you can turn the lower eyelet to orient properly.
    • On Stage 2, Stage 4 and Stage 5 models, the lower shock eyelets should be installed with the rebound adjuster oriented towards the rear of the vehicle as shown by the blue Arrow on the photo ( left side shown ). If needed, you can turn the lower eyelet to orient properly.

  4. Install the rear left shock with the head at the top of vehicle and the hose going to the front of vehicle. With the supplied rubber mount assembly, attach the reservoir on the frame as shown.  Note the rubber part is placed between the frame and the reservoir. DO NOT overtighten the collars or overbend the hose.
    • Install the rear left shock with the head at the top of vehicle and the hose going to the front of vehicle.

    • With the supplied rubber mount assembly, attach the reservoir on the frame as shown. Note the rubber part is placed between the frame and the reservoir.

    • DO NOT overtighten the collars or overbend the hose.

  5. Install the rear right shock with the head at the top of vehicle and the hose going to the front of vehicle. (45 degrees angle). With the supplied rubber mount assembly, attach the reservoir on the frame as shown.  Note the rubber part is placed between the frame and the reservoir. DO NOT overtighten the collars or overbend the hose.
    • Install the rear right shock with the head at the top of vehicle and the hose going to the front of vehicle. (45 degrees angle).

    • With the supplied rubber mount assembly, attach the reservoir on the frame as shown. Note the rubber part is placed between the frame and the reservoir.

    • DO NOT overtighten the collars or overbend the hose.

  6. On Stage 1 and Stage 2, the left and the right shock are the same. Just install them with the shraeder nitrogen valve at the top of vehicle. (Right side shown).
    • On Stage 1 and Stage 2, the left and the right shock are the same. Just install them with the shraeder nitrogen valve at the top of vehicle. (Right side shown).

  7. On Stage 2, Stage 4, and Stage 5 models the rebound adjuster located on lower eyelet of the shocks should be oriented towards the rear of the vehicle, as shown. (Left side shown ). If needed, you can turn the lower eyelet to orient properly.
    • On Stage 2, Stage 4, and Stage 5 models the rebound adjuster located on lower eyelet of the shocks should be oriented towards the rear of the vehicle, as shown. (Left side shown ). If needed, you can turn the lower eyelet to orient properly.

    • Note: We highly recommend a tire pressure of ± 7 psi.
