Lift the vehicle off the ground, then remove the wheels.

Remove the bolt that holds the brake line on each side to ensure that it will not be damaged and stretched during installation.(right side show)

Remove the bolt that holds the ABS sensor of the knuckle.

Remove the skid plate.
-
Remove the sway bar link on both sides.
-
Remove the sway bar.
-
-
-
Remove the nuts from the tie rod.
-
Remove upper arm ball joint nut and seperate it from steering knuckle.
-
Remove the bolts from the lower shock mounts.
-
-
-
Remove the 3 nuts of the upper shock.
-
Remove the shock from the vehicle.
-
-
-
Clean the sway bar area.
-
Install the sway bar relocation kit. Make sure the block is installed as shown. The red arrow is pointing to the front of the truck.

Install the relocation kit on both sides.
-
-
-
The skid plate need to be trimed before reinstall.
-
Cut the red triangle of the skid plate on both sides.
-
Mesure 1.5'' on both sides to make the cutting line.
-

-
Install the Elka shocks using provided lower bolts and the provided upper bolts. Hoses must face the rear of vehicle as shown (right side shown).

Install the bracket of the reservoir on top of the shock mount.
-
The bracket of the reservoir is fixed with the same bolts of the top plate.
-
Install the 3 uppers bolts and torque to 35 Ft-Lbs.

Sit the reservoir into the bracket clamps, then place the reservoir in such a way as to place the hose properly. BE CAREFUL TO NOT OVERBEND THE HOSE OR CREATE RUBBING ON FRAME.

When the reservoir is placed properly, torque bracket's bolts at 10 Ft-Lb.

Reinstall the lower pin bolts and torque to 50 Ft-Lb.

Reassemble the knuckle with the upper control arm. Torque the upper control arm nut to 70 Ft-Lb.

Reassemble the tie rod end, then torque the nut to 70 Ft-Lb.
-
Reinstall the brake line bolts.
-
Reinstall the ABS line bolts.
-
Reinstall the sway bar.
-
Reinstall the sway bar link on both sides.
-

Reintall the skid plate.
-
ALIGNMENT IS CRITICAL: A professional alignment must be performed before driving this vehicle at highway speeds. Do not attempt to drive your vehicle after this install without having the alignment readjusted to factory specs.

Remove upper and lower bolts from OEM shocks. Keep OEM bolts to install Elka shocks.
-

-
Both sides : Install the rear shock with the reservoir facing the rear of the vehicle.
-
Using an underhoist stand or a jack, lift rear axle to be able to install lower bolt.
-
Torque all bolts as manufacturer's specs.
-
