  1. Lift the vehicle off the ground, then remove the wheels. Remove the bolts that holds the ABS sensor line. the 4 bolts have been pointed by a red arrow. (right side show) Remove the bolts that holds the ABS sensor line. the 4 bolts have been pointed by a red arrow. (right side show)

  2. Remove the sway bar link on both side. The link is show by a red arrow. (right side show) Remove the nuts from the tie rod Remove upper arm ball joint nut and seperate it from steering knuckle.

    • Remove the nuts from the tie rod

    • Remove upper arm ball joint nut and seperate it from steering knuckle.

  3. Remove the bolts from the lower shock mounts Remove the 3 nuts of the upper shock. Remove the shock from the vehicule.
    • Remove the bolts from the lower shock mounts

    • Remove the 3 nuts of the upper shock.

    • Remove the shock from the vehicule.

  5. Use the bracket show in the picture for the right side. Insert the bended tab into the grommet and install the bracket as show in the picture. Make sure the bracket passes under the ABS line. Line up the hole in the bracket with the factory hole in the frame and reinstall the ABS bracket as show in the picture.

  6. Use the bracket show in the picture for the left side. unfold the clip of the abs wires bracket to fit the bracket proprely. Install the bracket in the factory hole as the right side.
    • Use the bracket show in the picture for the left side.

    • unfold the clip of the abs wires bracket to fit the bracket proprely.

    • Install the bracket in the factory hole as the right side.

  7. Install the Elka shocks using provided lower bolts and the provided upper bolts. Hoses must face the front of vehicle as shown (right side shown). Reinstall the lower pin bolt and torque to 50 Ft-Lb. Install the 3 uppers bolts and torque to 35 Ft-Lbs.
    • Install the Elka shocks using provided lower bolts and the provided upper bolts. Hoses must face the front of vehicle as shown (right side shown).

    • Reinstall the lower pin bolt and torque to 50 Ft-Lb.

    • Install the 3 uppers bolts and torque to 35 Ft-Lbs.

    • Reassemble the knuckle with the upper control arm. Torque the upper control arm nut to 70 Ft-Lb.

    • Reassemble the tie rod end, then torque the nut to 70 Ft-Lb.

    • Reinstall the sway bar link

    • Reinstall the ABS line bolts.

    • Install the reservoir in the the bracket. When the reservoir is placed properly, torque bracket's bolts at 10 Ft-Lb.

  8. Left side : remove the fender to help reach the 3 upper bolts Left side : remove the fender to help reach the 3 upper bolts

  9. IMPORTANT : Make sure the hose does not touch anything. If needed, rotate the reservoir in the bracket to clear the hose. ALIGNMENT IS CRITICAL: A professional alignment must be performed before driving this vehicle at highway speeds. Do not attempt to drive your vehicle after this install without having the alignment readjusted to factory specs.   10. Remove upper and lower bolts from OEM shocks. Keep OEM bolts to install Elka shocks. Remove upper and lower bolts from OEM shocks. Keep OEM bolts to install Elka shocks. Remove upper and lower bolts from OEM shocks. Keep OEM bolts to install Elka shocks.
    • Remove upper and lower bolts from OEM shocks. Keep OEM bolts to install Elka shocks.

  11. Install rear shocks with the reservoir facing the rear of the truck on both side. Make sure the sticker is facing the outside of the truck.
    • Install rear shocks with the reservoir facing the rear of the truck on both side.

    • Make sure the sticker is facing the outside of the truck.

    • Using an underhoist stand or a jack, lift rear axle to be able to install lower bolt.

    • Torque all bolts as manufacturer's specs.
