  1. Lift the vehicle using a jack or stand so that the wheels are off the ground. Refer to your vehicle's owner manual for specific instructions on how to remove the stock shocks. Keep your original bolts to re-use when installing your new Elka shocks.

    • Removing all side panels is necessary to perform installation.

  2. Install the front new Elka shocks with the reservoir ( on Stage 3-4-5 )  at the bottom of vehicle. ( Right side shown ). The reservoir must face Inside the vehicle as shown by the blue arrow. Install the front new Elka shocks with the schraeder nitrogen valve ( on Stage 1-2 ) at the bottom of vehicle
    • Install the front new Elka shocks with the reservoir ( on Stage 3-4-5 ) at the bottom of vehicle. ( Right side shown ). The reservoir must face Inside the vehicle as shown by the blue arrow.

    • Install the front new Elka shocks with the schraeder nitrogen valve ( on Stage 1-2 ) at the bottom of vehicle

  3. On Stage 2, Stage 4 and Stage 5 models, the  shock eyelets should be installed with the rebound adjuster oriented towards the rear of the vehicle as shown by the red Arrow on the photo ( Right side shown ). If needed, you can turn the lower eyelet to orient properly.

  4. On Stage 1 and Stage 2, the shock must be installed with the shraeder nitrogen valve at the top of vehicle. The shraeder valve also must be installed facing the rear of vehicle. On Stage 4 and 5 , the shock must be installed with the hose fitting facing the rear of vehicle,so the hose going to the right side.

    • On Stage 4 and 5 , the shock must be installed with the hose fitting facing the rear of vehicle,so the hose going to the right side.

    • Pass the reservoir from under the vehicle first, as shown.

    • Install the supplied lower mounting kit including the steel sleeve and the 2 spacers as shown.

  5. Fix the shock in place with the OEM bolts. Route the hose along the frame as shown. You can use tie wrap to secure it. Pass the reservoir behind the frame and attach it with the supplied bracket (see next step).

  6. Install first part of bracket with threaded holes first, beside the frame. Be carefull to not install it over any cables. Install the bracket with the notches upside (see red circle). Install the second part of the bracket, place the reservoir as shown and torque the 2 bolts at 10 ft/pnds

  7. Route the hydraulic preload adjuster  hose the same way as step 5. Route the hydraulic preload hose along with the shock hose. You can secure it with tie wrap. Install the hydraulic preload adjuster with the supplied bracket kit on the shock reservoir as shown.
    • Route the hydraulic preload adjuster hose the same way as step 5.

    • Install the hydraulic preload adjuster with the supplied bracket kit on the shock reservoir as shown.

  8. For hydralic preload with a Stage 2 shock, fix the adjuster directly to the frame with supplied bracket as shown. Torque the 2 bolts at 10 ft/pnds. For hydralic preload with a Stage 2 shock, fix the adjuster directly to the frame with supplied bracket as shown. Torque the 2 bolts at 10 ft/pnds.
    • For hydralic preload with a Stage 2 shock, fix the adjuster directly to the frame with supplied bracket as shown. Torque the 2 bolts at 10 ft/pnds.
